Q: Where are you currently at in life?
A: I am married to my bride, Marley, we met at BG my freshman year. We are Falcon Flames! We have been married for 9 years and have 4 kids (Cecilia, James, Maria, and Baby Davis Due March 2021). I work at Citi as the North America Collections Technology Strategy Lead. Long story short, I’m the guy in Office Space that has people skills.
Q: What is your favorite Memory of Bowling Green?
A: My wife and I love to eat, so one of our favorite places in town was Easy Street Cafe. We had many dates there. That’s also where I met her father for the first time. You also can’t go wrong with the Cookie Jar. Still has one of the best cookies I’ve ever had.
Q: What was your favorite St. Tom's memory?
A: There are several: 1) Daily Mass. I loved that I could easily go to Mass every day while being a full time student and working on campus. 2) Koinonia. It was the first retreat I had ever done and I loved it so much that I helped to lead it 5 other times! 3) Theresa Williams. TDUBs! Isn’t she the absolute greatest?!
Q: Why was the Catholic Community at BGSU significant in your life?
A: It showed me what being a member of the Body of Christ meant. It helped me to understand what it means to belong to the universal church. It gave me a foundation to deal with trials in adult life. It showed me the importance of having a strong Catholic community.
It was important because I came to college with an 8th grade understanding of my faith. I entered that community with people just like me, and we had upper class men we could look to for guidance and mentoring because only a few short years ago, they were in our shoes.
God blessed us with a group in Florida...[for] young families that we could look to for guidance and mentoring...All of these communities help me to be the Catholic I am today and will continue to challenge me to be a better Catholic tomorrow.
