God calls each of us to fully participate in the Mass, not to just be a mere spectator. We can do this in the simplest way by serving as a liturgical minister during the Mass. Weekend Mass Hospitality team members welcome anyone attending the weekend Masses, as well as providing assistance with any worship aids and collection needs. Lectors read aloud the Old and New Testament readings during the Liturgy of the Word. Altar servers assist the pastor throughout the Mass, from the opening procession to the closing recession.

Due to the current pandemic, we will not be training new Eucharistic Ministers at this time. Thank you for your patience.

How Do I Become a Liturgical Minister?

Training for Liturgical Ministries will be offered at various times throughout the month of September/October. Below is a list of times and dates for specific training sessions. Please plan on attending one 60-minute training session for each ministry you are interested in for this upcoming year. If you would like to get involved at any time, please fill out the form below. Personal training sessions are always available.

If you wish to consider any of these ministries, please contact Fr. Jeff Walker at or fill out the form below to submit and be added to the schedule. Thank you in advance for your willingness to participate in the Mass.
