RELIGIOUS EDUCATION

DSC_0117_edited.jpg

"The Church teaches that parents are the primary and principal educators of their  children. Because the Christian religion is not merely a subject in school, but rather a  whole way of life, education in the faith begins in the home in the child’s earliest years.  “Family catechesis precedes, accompanies, and enriches other forms of instruction in  the faith.”

(Cf. Catechism of the Catholic Church 2223-2226)

St. Thomas More University Parish is student focused, but family friendly. Members of  our permanent community with school-aged children and teens can take advantage of  the following helps to education in the faith:

Members of St. Thomas More Parish are eligible to receive the same  parishioner grant that members of St. Al’s receive.
